Man Hits Wife in Head With an Onion

A man was arrested after he hit his wife in the back of the head with an onion. James Izzolena, 54, of Des Moines, had been drinking, became upset with his wife, Nicole Izzolena, 27, and threw an onion at her during an argument on Wednesday, police said.


Police said James Izzolena admitted throwing the onion at his wife but said he didn't mean to hit her.


His wife told police it made her head hurt.

Hey to be fair, we have NO idea what the wife could have done to upset de man (I do NOT support violence against women) but at the same time it's a discredit to men that sometimes women do some ridiculous things and men cyah deal with it, emotionally. Woman coulda been horning him with the neighbour 18 year old son for all we know... O_o

She probably didn't do anything. He was probably drunk, she told him about it, and he probably got ticked enough in his stupor to pelt...er.....veggies of mass destruction at her. Yeah.

Did you ask why the man was drinking? or if he had a history of drinking? for all we know he could have gone to drown his sorrows in the bottle after his wife told him she slept with everyone at his office including the Janitor.... O_o
