So, I thought I should re-introduce this game once again, where forumites can post thier ideas on cards, as well as give the name of a card for the next forumite to make up an effect for. However, this game comes with a little twist.

You see, just recently, I came across this set in another game, Magic: The Gathering. So, I figured....why not invent cards with completely ridiculous/stupid/insanely-overpowered-to-the-point-of-being-unplayable effects, just for a laugh?

The rules are simple. Player A suggests the name of a card, Player B comes up with an effect for it.
However, players can also 'invent' card ideas of their own, and post them up as well. Be sure, however, that you do so while keeping in line with the game (that is, invent an effect for Player A's card name, and give a card name for the next player to use.)

So, I'll begin:

CARD IDEA

Extremely Heavy Battle Axe
Equip Spell Card

Effect: When you activate this card, the equipped monster's battle position changes to Defense Position (if in face-up Attack Position). Then, drop this card on the floor (this card's effect is not yet activated). Then, on your next turn, during your Main Phase, take the equipped monster card, and use it to pick up this card from the floor and place it on the Field in one of your available Spell & Trap card Zones. If either card falls to the floor in the process (or there are no available spaces in the Spell & Trap Card Zone, both cards are sent to the Graveyard. If you are successful in doing so, activate the following effect:

- Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 3000. When the equppied monster attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the End Step of the turn, and cannot change position until your next Main Phase 2.



Nerd Goblin
Earth/Warrior/3 Stars/1100 ATK/300 DEF

FLIP: Declare the name of 1 card in your hand. Your opponent must tell you which expansion the card comes from. If he cannot guess the correct answer, draw 1 card from your deck. If he guesses correctly, he draws 1 card.

Knock yourself out. Remember, it has to be a card you are capable of using in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, so be sure to give the basic rules a check out so you can create a card.

Also, just so this post wouldn't be a blah-blah-ish one:

(BAD) CARD IDEA

Flatulent Ogre
Earth/Fiend/4 Stars/1900 ATK/250 DEF

EFFECT:You may Special Summon this card from the Graveyard if either player breaks wind during the duel. You may only Special Summon 1 "Flatulent Ogre" at a time for each incidence of breaking wind. (Breaking wind is inclusive of belching and farting.)


(SERIOUS) CARD IDEA

Armageddon Hero- Timeslip
Dark/Spellcaster/4 Stars/1200 ATK/1100 DEF

EFFECT: This card may also be treated as a "Maverick Hero" card. When this card is returned from the field to your hand, you may draw 2 cards.


NEXT CARD

ILLUSION OF GRANDEUR

Reptile/Dark/2 Stars/300 ATK/200 DEF

EFFECT: If this card was destroyed by an opponent's card effect, you may Special Summon it during your Main Phase 1 in face-up Defense Position at a cost of 500 LP. If this card was destroyed as a result of battle, inflict 100 damage to your opponent's LP x the Level of the attacking monster.


(Retarded) CARD IDEAS

Extremely Ticked Off Woodchucks
Earth/Beast/3 Stars/900 ATK/400 DEF

EFFECT: Triple the ATK of this card when you declare a direct attack with this card. If your opponent shouts "ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!" at the top of his/her lungs before damage calculation, however, the attack is negated and this card's battle position changes to face-down Defense Position.


Pocket Protector
Equip Spell Card

EFFECT: Equip to one monster with 'Nerd' in its card name. That monster gains 500 ATK. Destroy this card if the effect of "Atomic Wedgie of Ultimate Doom" is activated by either player.

BROKEN GLASSES
Quick-Play Spell Card

EFFECT: You may only activate this card when a monster wearing glasses in its card artwork is targetted by the effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect monster card. Negate the activation of that card and destroy it. If you happen to be wearing glasses when you activate this card, you may also draw 1 card from your deck.

CARD IDEA

Dork Ruler Haw Dees
6 Stars/Fiend/DARK/2450 ATK/1600 DEF

EFFECT: This card is treated as a 'Nerd' monster. Negate the effects of all monster cards that are destroyed as a result of battle by 'Nerd' monsters on your side of the field. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. If 'Dark Ruler Ha Des' appears on the field at any given time, scream like a girl and reduce the ATK of this card by 400 points. Otherwise, destroy this card.


NERD KNIGHT
4 Stars/Warrior/Earth/1300 ATK/1500 DEF

EFFECT: If this card happens to be in your hand when a 'Nerd' monster card is going to be destroyed as a result of battle, then, before damage calculation, announce "I can't let you do that!" and toss this card from your hand (from a height of at least 1 foot) so that it lands on the attacking monster. If you succeed, then negate the attack, and send this card to the Graveyard. If this card fails to land on the attacking monster, send it to the Graveyard anyway.

Revenge of the Nerds
Trap Card

EFFECT: You may only activate this card on the turn when a 'Nerd' monster is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle. Yell "CHAAAAARGE!!" at the top of your lungs, and then, Special Summon as many 'Nerd' monsters from your Graveyard as you can on the field in face-up Attack Position. At the end of the Battle Phase, yell "RUN AWAY!!" and return those monster cards to the Graveyard. You may not target those monsters again for the effect of "Revenge of the Nerds" until the end of the duel.


(Crappy) CARD IDEA
Vampire Lord of Rock
7 Stars/Dark/Fusion-Effect/Zombie/2400 ATK/1500 DEF

"Vampire Lord" + "Musician King"
EFFECT: This card can only be Special Summoned using the correct Fusion-Material monsters. When this card does damage to your opponent's Life Points, declare one type of card (Monster, Spell or Trap) and your opponent searches his/her deck for one card of that type and sends it to the Graveyard. If you call out a card type in song, that card is removed from play instead. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, you may Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position during you next Standby Phase by shouting "Thank you! And Good Night!" and taking a bow. Your opponent draws 1 card from his deck if he claps during the resolution of that effect.


I Think You Dropped Something
Trap Card

EFFECT:Before you activate this card, say 'I think you dropped something' to your opponent. If your opponent asks 'Where?' or looks around as if he did drop something, say, 'Right here!', activate this card, and randomly discard 1 card from your opponent's hand.

Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Card-Game
4 Stars/Warrior/LIGHT/2400 ATK/1200 DEF

EFFECT: Remove this card from play as soon as it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, Special Summoned or flipped face-up on the field. :P

Side Decking Switcher
Trap Card

EFFECT:Pay 1000 Life Points. Replace the top card of your deck with a random card from your side deck.

Side Decking Graverobber
Trap Card

EFFECT:Pay 2000 Life Points. Replace one card in your Graveyard with a card from your Side Deck.

Side Decking Swindler
Trap Card

EFFECT:Pay 3000 Life Points. Take 1 card from your Side Deck and put it on top of your deck. That card returns to the Side Deck once it is sent to the Graveyard or the current Duel ends.

Can You Cut My Deck?
Spell Card

EFFECT: Your opponent cuts your deck.

Thank You Sir, May I Have Another?
Counter Trap Card

EFFECT: You may only activate this card when either player receives damage as a result of battle or a card effect. Inflict direct damage to that player's Life Points equal to the amount inflicted unless he says, "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

CALL TO ARMS!

This card may only be activate at the start of the battle phase. Special summon two "Ichigo" tokens (Light-Warrior three stars 1000 ATK, 0 DEF). These tokens can attack directly. If they attack directly using this effect, they are destroyed at the end of the damage step. Also, these tokens are destroyed at the end of the next turn's battle phase.

CARD IDEA

Goofy Gopher
3 Stars/Earth/Beast/700 ATK/500 DEF

EFFECT: When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, Special Summon 1 "Goofy Gopher" card in face-up Defense Position from your side deck. (Cards played from the side deck return to the side deck once removed from the field). This card's Battle Position may change and may be flipped face-up or face-down, once per turn, using this card's effect. (For example, you may change a face-up Defense Position "Goofy Gopher" to face-down Attack Position.)

Evil-Eyed Bat
5 Stars/Dark/Spellcaster/2100 ATK/1500 DEF

EFFECT: If this card is always summoned upside-down if Normal Summoned, Special Summoned or Flip Summoned in Attack Position. During either player's End Phase, that turn player may pay 500 Life Points to turn this card upside down or right-side up (depending on how they are viewing the card). Inflict 500 Life Points of Direct Damage to the Life Points of the player that this card is currently staring at, during each player's Standby Phase.

EFFECT: Offer 1 monster on your side of the field as a Tribute to Special Summon 2 'Underwear' Tokens in Defense Position on the field (1 Star/Earth/Fiend/0 ATK/0 DEF). Use your underwear as tokens.

ERRATA: Our lawyers have advised us that you really shouldn't take off your own underwear to carry out the effect of this card, but you can use any underwear you happen to have on your person. You might end up scaring the kids if you do that, so please......don't.
