Lol @ reducing the urge to go skinny dipping.

That is not any form of piranha. It looks like a big african tigerfish, Hydrocynus goliath. You get those in lakes and rivers from Tanganyka down into the Congo basin. They get up to about 50 lbs, I think.

Piranhas are a totally different family to that thing. You get Pygocentrus (the ones you would think of if you think of piranha usually... well the ones I think of at least... assuming I'm thinking of piranha instead of, oh something like winning lotto, or beating the blasted emperors without switching to a jade golem), Pygopristis and Serrasalmus that you find mainly in the Americas (unless some fool lets them go somewhere else).  Whole different continent really.

That thing up there is probably more closely related to a neon tetra than a real piranha.

If you relly want to fight the urge to skinny dip, realise that that water is probably colder than you think, and no it is NOT warmer at night, it's bloody well colder at night, and we all know what happens when you move yourself into that cold water. Now think about the kind of wanderful impression you would make and having people call you stupy and singing that  song involving "teeny weeny shriveled little short" as the major part of the chorus.

Brother, if you measuing "country coldness" by shrinkage when you go in the water then Trinidad should be snowing in some parts. Beaches that nice and cool duing the day can be pretty cold at night. Even some beaches like Maqueripe get downright chilly during the DAY if the currents coming into the bay right.

And as a man who's been swimming in the dark enough times, water NEVER warmer at night. And yuh see flipping river water at night? Listen nuh doh even PLAY that nonsense unless you running a fever or something or hoping to make a particularly bad impression on someone.
