Dread I had a Voltron toy... BIG @ss toy back in the day, had all 5 lions... lent it to meh neighbour... and well the black lion came back short of 1 leg... needless to say Voltron was a crimple from then on... *sighs* that was a BIG cartoon back in the day... however whilst Transformers lent itself surprisingly well to an live-action movie... I am not sure voltron will... its like Power rangers on crack... 5 helmet wearing spandex sporting do-gooders in a robot that comes together... to fight other robots from an evil space empire... err... I really doh see how they going to pull this one off....

Back then, Voltron to me was like....the poor man's Transformers. (Yeah, I know it's closer to Power Rangers, but I didn't know about them back then.)

As a matter of fact, naive me was wondering how come Voltron never actually said anything, despite being a 'combiner' like Devastator. Ah, well.

Either way, the show didn't really appeal to me that much.
I'd still see the movie, though....but perhaps when it comes out on DVD.

used to real reelup on VOltron back in the day. GO video club and go mad on the scene and rent ALLLLL they have. That and GI JOE
