idea for dsl & flow?

I'm not much of a networking know it all so maybe someone with more insight could shed light on this idea..

ok say u have dsl(i have dialup but gettin dsl jus now) from tstt and you want to try out what flow offering in terms of qos n wat not so say i sign up with flow for 20hrs 512k which is like about$90...how feasable is combining the two services with a dual wan router that allows load balancing meaning that technically your speed would be 256k unlimited plus 512k for 20hrs..=768k... any insights on this..will it work? anybody try somthin so?

oh yea for thos that not sure what load balancing is..its like say u downloading 3 files it would mean that with combined speed u can get 256k dl for each file (assuming is 256k plus 512)..thou it DOES NOT mean that you can dload 1 file at 768k not since that scene/type of service would have to take place at the sources themselves ie. isp

possible but waste of time , the signup cost is like 600 for Flow so you might as well take a 1mbit unlimited package for 690 a month if you want more speed .

 though it would be good if flow had bad pings..but i don't think they do, and it will be fixed in the near future likely

The cost of load balacing hardware is quite prohibitive eh.  Are you prepared to spend possibly
a few thousand or tens of thousands for it?  Not to mention the technical expertise required to
set it up.  You'll have to pay for this as well.  That won't come cheap either.

As Trinithereturnofgamez said, don't waste your time.  Once Flow brings their wired backbone
onstream, then their 1MB package will suit you just fine.

The price is actually quite reasonable, compared to what TSTT currently charges for their 1.5 MB business DSL package ($3000 TT per month I think).

Yeah and you can't even get that for residential if you really wanted it, only corporate I believe.

Trouble with Flow, from what I hear, it's a little tricky to get more than one PC online at the same time

well i have a 1mbit connection from FLOW and it runs like a dream. the ping on most games don't go lower than 120, but thats good enough. i get download at 120k all day and night, it almost never slows down. the service was down a couple days this month, but other than that it's all great. the price is quite high though ($690 per month).
