Here's a thought that spontaneously occured to me...

Lets have a topic for members to justify their gaming console purchases.
(No bashing or Comparison of Consoles...Please...)

So list your consoles and justifythem!

Me:
GBA - Pokemon Games, Portability (Only good one of its time)

PS2 - Playstation Brand, DVD Player!, Growing Gaming Library (Now Massive!).

PSP - Playstation Brand, Portability, The Games! - Socom FTB, Loco Roco, Star Wars Battlefront 2 anywhere I go!!!, Music/Video Player, Internet Device, Wi-Fi, Firmware updates, Compatibility with PS3, Sexy Black Gloss finish...

PS3 - Playstation Brand/Sony, Heavenly Sword!, Resistance Fall of Man, Killzone 2 (+ many more upcoming games) , Blu-Ray Player (Blu-Ray Disc FTW!), Built in Harddrive (60Gb) and ability to upgrade drive with any third party HDD, Sixaxis Controller, Music, Pictures, Video, Internet Browser!, Cell Processor (drools @ its power!), Built in Wireless! (Gotta love wireless!), HDMI (for when I get my HDTV), its sexy black gloss finish, Free Online!!!, State of Mind that PS2 ruled last gen and PS3 will do the same, Firmware Updates and hundreds of new features to come, Low failure rate, Playstation Home, Upscales PS2 Games/DVD's to HD, Folding@Home, Unreal Tournament 3!!!, Compatibility with PSP in future games/Remote Play, Little Big Planet!

PS2 - All the fighting games I play on PS2, most are arcade perfect ports, some are games you people never heard of, plus my arcade stick is for PS2 >_>

DC - Kickass system Sonic/Soul Calibur/Marvel vs Capcom 2/Project Justice/Shenmue. Bought it for $50.00

NGC - Zelda/Smash/Mario Kart

point taken no matter how much u spread your opinion u cant really say that your console does more justice than the other lol. If someone like katamari damasi alot they may love ps2 i think katamari sux but i still love ps2 it makes no sense trying.

- Solid online experience with Xbox Live! Backward compatible with all major Xbox Releases, Gears of War (need I say more on that one) and a host of other good games.

I didn't really think it worth mentioning the mutlimedia options (streaming music/video, etc) cause I think all consoles of this gen SHOULD have it and thus its not much of a selling point but rather an expected funtion.

PS2 - wow, all the RPGs, the old school games, stuff still comming out on PS2 (eg Tomb Raider Aniversary)

Gamecube - none realy since I have the Wii, willl trade this in....um.....controlers?

DS - Portable, Mario Kart, Tetris DS, New Super Mario....lots of reasons

360 - All cross platforms are best on this console.....the new PS2. BEST Online experience, BEST downloadable content.

PS3 - Heavenly Sword, Drakes Fortune, Ratchet and Clank.....BACKWARD COMPATABILITY, BLU RAY

Wii - FUN FUN FUN!,Zelda, Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, Rival Swords, Resident Evil, Mario Kart, Smash Bros......lots and LOTS of fun new stuff.- Backwards compatability.

^do remember there's a sleeping crowd of PS2 Owners..... A rough 90 Million, who have tonnes of PS2 games that they will like to play on the sequel to their console as well as sequels to titles such as ratchet and clank and MGS4 that will be on the PS3...

WTMC i want some sony underwear too! I never like to say things like sony will rule and such although i believe it but the let everyone enjoy their consoles and leave them be lmao, people have different tastes and likings so everyone should be happy with at least one of the consoles and pc if not.

ps1 - Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, Resident evil
GBA - Street Fighter 2 turbo Revival
ps2 - Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, subsistence, Resident Evil 4 with New Features, Final Fantasy 12, God of War, devil may cry, onimusha, Silent Hill. at the time was also the first dvd player my family had.
psp - Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, MGS DGN, Syphon Filter, Tekken, GTA, silent hill origins, put my music and movies all on 1 memory stick and have them everywhere i go with atleast one game already in the psp.
ps3  -Metal Gear Solid 4, blue ray player, killzone 2, uncharted.

xbox 360 - LIVE...you cant beat LIVE (padna on his PC talk to me the other day....dread STEAM real mad you could talk to your padna while playing HL 2 and find out where they is and what the doing in the game too...i like...fella.....L2LIVE....this going on for over a year now)

PS3- ah love mih Blu Ray (get a tv with HD before you think you can talk bout this), Heavenly Sword, backwards compatibility and demos....so far. Real boss system

Wii - Mario, Zelda....despite what anyone say online is g a y! with a capital G. in comparison to the other consoles. I understand the reasons...but this is 2007, disolve arrogance and do what ppl want plz.

DS - battery life win!!!! backwards compatibility and anyone who doh have Gunstar Heores is an ass.
