The Following is a TheApprentice/Musicspot Original Posting

Nigel R. Khan Bookseller, Price Plaza, Chaguanas.

Time Frame - Before 6pm to past 8pm.

The line continues to build...







I can say there was at least 200 people in that store for the 7pm launch.

There was 10 second countdown to the time of sales...
10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

LOUD SCREAMS AND SHRIEKS OF EXCITEMENT FROM THE WHOLE CROWD ECHOING THROUGHOUT THE PLAZA...

Entrigued onlookers awe at the massive crowd inside the book store.

Sales begin...
First buyer waiting possibly over 2 hours in line gets his copy, followed by another round of shrieks...

The first few people get special gift bags containing the book...
Then everyone else gets regular plastic bages (= me :( )

A few people on buying the book begin reading right in the store and head their way out and lean against the glass door reading...
Others went straight to the Bubble Cupps: Bubble Tea Cafe for some delicious smoothies, Chinese desserts and some awesome quiet reading time...

Well that was awesome..
Couple that with just coming from The Order of the Phoenix 2:45pm showing..and wrap that up as the best Harry Potter Day ever...

Now remains alot of reading... and 2 movies...

well it wasn't TOTAL crap..

some parts were okay..

but i admit it  was highly derivative..

i still enjoyed it tho.. hadda read it a few more times to give a proper verdict

anyhow, let's not buss any spoilers for those who have yet to aquire  it

west mall attendants were dressed in "witch gear" *pfft let me not even get started on real witches versus holywood ish* but there wasnt a long line
very strange

buttt there were alot of teens dressed in potter gear

from the feedback I got from people buying the book around the country,Chaguanas had the largest crowd...

Cuz seriously..the line had lasted for over an hour with new additions every minute...
at 9pm still saw people walking out with their bags...

It had one or two buyers in their witch gear..While all the staff dressed up...

Twas a cool and surreal launch at Nigel R. Khan, Price Plaza.....

Truly something I've never seen b4 locally...
A grand launching of something...

Line? wow, I went down to the book store in st james arround 12 and harass some of the sales girls and by 1230 I was walking out the store with three harry potter books 150....however, i havent found the time to actually sit down and read, plus i dunno why but i just not into the book as much as the last ones....

ah KNOW i goin to get cuss for sayin dis, but i have seen a lil of each movie, never read any of the books, and i went Tuesday MT to see de opening night cuz a fren of my GF had like 7 tickets(some shiney looking ticket that must've been expensive), and dey wanted company. ...it was 'aite.

You know, I'd never really understand why people have to be the 'first' to own everything. I'm more or less the type of guy who likes to wait until the heat dies down and then pounce on it, because fighting off rabid fanboys/fangirls just to grab something that's going to fade in a few months doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It's fun, but meh.

Case in point? At the Knowledge Zone in Movie Towne yesterday, there were four copies of the book left, and they were pretty much ripe for the picking. I figured that I could always come back in a few weeks time and get another, because hey, tomorrow's another day. That's just to show how easily I could've scored one on the day the book came out, without having to dodge bullets like the Matrix to do so.

Got mines at Price Plaza too. I sent my sister to grab it though (she got her copy as well).
Hell if I'm going there on launch night. I know people from that area. How some of them fellas didn't organize a P.A. system and start bawlin spoilers to the crowd at large is still a mystery to me.

After secluding myself more and more from every conceivable information source for nearly a month I wasn't taking no chances.

to me in cases like this, i rather find a small book shop, not too popular but know for sure they gonna bring in the book.... I not gonna rush and fight down to get one, but i do want to read it as soon as possible....
