I kinda knew Sax wouldn't miss that.
I fixed the mobo thing with matthewhypolite's score, but I didn't even see the Prowl thing.

for a top 20 i gonna have to real dig for the next 5...gimmeh ah lil time...

Hmm, I don't think I'll be able to get up to that top 5 again with this rig as is....*sighs & wonders where I could get some 4870s borrow to test out the extra horsepower as my board is Crossfire...*

so after running some heavy game then browsing to the forums tonight and seeing an updated list, i decided to 3dmark my "budget" system

these are the results...

maybe i'll do some tweaking etc if i feel up to it

gasp @ arcman's score and wtmc @ me being bumped down to 13th spot.

I gonna overclock my mc card oui and if that doesn't get me back into the top 10, ATI immc.

i was wondering if we should create a separate ranking thread for the vantage, it seems to take advantage of the newer hardware better than 06 and would be a better reflection of the machines power. grouping it in this thread would be easy enough. however having those machines use 06 is like using 05 still, it just not up to the task of benching those monsters...imho...

What we can do is add a vantage score to the top rigs thread right there in the score summary, simply because of the fact that not everyone will be able to obtain a vantage score for the obvious reasons.

Most of us already have our own benchmark thread in which our results go. I see no reason for further separation

agreed @ capt... i wouldnt even bother to run vantage... and my guess is a greater score in 06= a greater score in vantage neways so it will not affect the rankings

and My mobo is an Asus P5B-Deluxe (P965)

jah... damn pc reach 18th yes.. next ting i go wake up and see meh computer committing suicide..lolz

interesting to see that phoenix's rig with an 8800gt beat prowl's rig with a 4850.. ignoring the board and memory.. shows that the 8800gt is still a little power house.

one more thing, i say we officially declare the 8800gt as the most popular graphics card in GATT.. look at the specs...
