i wonder why u putting 4ghz of ram... it's 4GB...

your rig will prolly give u at least 10500 3dmarks, that's if u overclock ur cpu and graphics card.. i get 9463 3dmarks at default settings, so u can get higher. The key as far as i see it, get ur cpu up to 3ghz and you're good to go.

This is one of the best modern o/c'ing tutorials that I've seen, also gives you some easy math to work with...

i believe it was brought to my attention by Cap'n Awesome some time ago in a post or the other...

even though it starts with intel and then AMD 2nd i suggest you read it completely through so you can understand the major differences and such, also it's just some good readin'.

Only one component I'll be able to change soon, and I don't think it'll make much of a difference in all.....if I was only working all the time to be able to look at a 4870 like SOME ppl....*glances at a certain person...*

Be warned all, a 2+ yr old machine shall climb back into the top 5 this weekend, MARK MY WORDS WELL!!!!!

also bear in mind that I have a few top secret OC'ing tricks from my 3.4 ghz screaming E6600 runs and 690 mhz ati 1900 records that held in the top 10 for over 18 months!! now it's time to return and show all you upstarts what Oc'ing is all about!!

ok now where can I buy some dry ice.

Like you forget matthewhypolite and his brother actually at 1st and 2nd eh.
I am/was 3rd. Based on latest developments I should be 4th, but we now have a mix of
XP and Vista systems, which complicates things.

We need to standardise this thing, or, break it up into XP rankings and Vista rankings.

What say ye gentlemen?
