I believe this topic belongs just as much in here as anywhere else. I know that many have very busy schedules and not much time. And then there are those that are just not religious. Hence I propose that silence and moments of reflections and prayer every now and again for those less fortunate is a form or charity (in the form of prayer) and (reflection) in the form of silence for those whom have passed on. Now in case you are wondering what has brought this on... well thats pretty easy unfortunately. I will actually address that question directly in a moment, but before I do I offer an pre-answer in a question:
"Whom amoung us has not felt the direct/in-direct effect or crime, poverty, abuse and all other ills of life and society?"
If you can say you've never been affected then you are already TRULY blessed beyound most and moresover should offer your prayers and silence to those less fortunate. The answer I give you is because I know many whom have suffered both directly and in-directly from various crimes and attrocities and most recently, a co-worker of mine was one of the innocent victims of this weekends killing spree... he was one of the 6 ppl killed over the weekend and he just had the bad luck of being in the wrong place at the wrong time... nothing more. Furthermore he has a little girl only 4 yrs old.
So to those that want to do a little something for as a charitable offering I propose each day when you have time to offer a little prayer for your loved ones and those you know and those you don't Silence for the fallen and you GOOD WILL to all those around you, no matter how much they may NOT deserve it.
God Bless
