Who would have thought it!!! it was the MC sun all dis time!!! and here I thought it was lack of competition, not enough repeater sites, poor lines of site coverage, bad service, poor customer relations, bad PR, striking TSTT union workers, bad management..... ah well I guess we could always be wrong...

IF YOUR mobile phone signal drops for no apparent reason you should blame the Sun, according to a paper presented to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

A study conducted by Queen's University study, found solar flares are likely to blame for mobile phones losing their signal.

Radio-frequency energy bursts emitting from the sun can take down a host tower's antennae if it is facing the sun at the time.

The report claimed that between nine and 20 per cent of calls have been dropped because of solar flares.

Queen's top boffin professor Dr David Thomson said the effect was caused by the Sun radiating energy into the Earth's magnetic field.

Dread I helped out meh sis yesterday with her internet connection. Poor girl trying over a week now to get her internet BACK UP. So as anyone who is not tech savvy would do, she called TSTT repeatedly asking for help. Each time they went through the SAME EXACT STEPS THAT DIDN'T WORK. Eventually she stopped asking for help over the phone and for a technician to come see about it. To no avail either as after DAYS of waiting on said tech they never showed (no duh right?) and they kept telling her tomorrow. So I only heard about the problem yesterday, so I told her to give me a call later when I got home and i'd help. So after 5 minutes it was back up... there was 1 setting off on her modem which was the gateway setting in the WAN config... something THAT simple was the cause of her strife and TSTT couldn't GET THAT??? I mean seriously... are they outsourcing their tech support to afghanistan? I second, third, fourth, fifth, etc that notion Cross IS ALWAYS TSTT FAULT!!!
