it depends on ur tv response time i think not necessarily the game cuz look at H3
hence h3 is best played on tvs 22"-26" according to the pros
some of the bigger tvs
experience this which i assume is da same with kz2

but that cud all b bull since ghosty plays on a 42" hdtv an doesn't get lag an dvon plays on a 32" hdtv without any problems either an neither do i.
no1 i play with ever had any complaints either bout it having lag jus u

they saying when you press fire, 9 frames later it actually takes effect on the screen?

Is it noticeable?

Arena had input lag on the projectors, so a small TVs was hooked up in parallel to allow the gamers a real time experience while the crowd could look on at the big screen.

Are you saying anything larger that 26" flatpanel will have the same sort of effect?

I played street fighter 4 and tekken on a 40" but can't say I noticed any lag.

@ Blu - response time has nothing to do with input lag on tvs or monitors.

Its 6 frames they said minus 3 frames to compensate for the lag on the Dell Monitor. 6 frames is alot of lag, damn near unplayable. Most gamers can't tell the difference between no lag and a couple frames of lag depending on the game, others will feel it off the bat. Chances are if you're playing on a HDTV there's about 2-3 frames of input lag even with game mode. FPS games are not frame dependent like some other genres (like music games, fighters) as 1 frame makes all the difference in the world in these games. If you're playing these games online and say there's no lag then you can't see the lag.

Do some stopwatch lag tests.

lag would be a real issue for a defensive player. an offensive player may not be as adversely affected.

casual play, no big deal.

Considering men sweating street fighter against people in different countries and having a ball. Sure there's some element of lag but it still hell-a-fun.

For competitions (involving prize money) I'd stick with a smaller screen/tv/crt just to be safe with a large screen for spectators.

I do experience minor lag in the controls but it's so small it's not a big deal.... Also I adapted to it anyway so it isn't a complaint from me.

I mean...who really care if killzone 2 better than cod4....if you like to play somethin play it, it doh matter what everyone else likes.

I personally like to throw plum seed at my neighbour cat........err....yea.....

aight so me and limit were talking an we need to know who for sure showing up for the U2 demo sweat next week
demo comes on tuesday 29th sept so sweat cud be on the friday 1st oct
now d reason we need to know who coming is becuz U2 has a max of 10 ppl (5v5) in a match so if we short i wud jus pull in other ppl on my list to fill up
