i think i'll be taking the dive into the console world soon, and i'll start with a ps3. i will keep tuned to this thread to see how the community here is and what games y'all play now and again. I'm a bit afraid to go with the 360 now just because of the failure but i'm monitoring that also. Expect me xmas time hopefully.

Well if/when you come aboard, me and my bro always up for some Tekken 5: DR, SFIV, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Online, and MotorStorm PR. I'm always up for some Killzone 2 cuz bro doh play (well he does but almost all the time it's me  ).

YOU obviously have not played 4v4s in kz2 or spend ANY considerable time in socom
16-32 player matches are target practice for us waste of time try 4v4s

if u want tactics play 4v4s against us or any server for that matter an u wud see how quickly u press quit lol
oh i forgot u jus like to run an press shoot, sry but "spray and pray" dont cut it in those games
hence u see the respawn screen more than actually playin

The game is fine, actually amazing its the no talent community that killed it.

They seem to believe bots, and assault takes no skill... But they believe that running around with frag x3/stun x3/ m16 whoring does take skill.

And it is an unfortunate misconception.

Don't get me wrong rifles only is just fine with me. I am simply stating that it takes more skill to adapt to play with bots and rockets than to run around only worrying about players with rifles.

/Anyways it died because of people who are bad and cant adapt.

ppl might run a cod sweat 1st, then hop on gears or halo for another sweat session not here
strictly cod only

Ok I get your point...I guess the trini PSN group are a bit standoffish and stick to one game...cause I for one know we mix it up reasonably well on live...a little COD 4, COD: WaW, Halo 3, GOW, GOW 2, BattleField, even a Bomberman here or there...lol I agree with the variety thing, cause playing one game gets to be boring after awhile...well sorry to hear about the continuing woes with Trinis gaming on PSN yes...*SIGH*

LOL but seriously, scale back a bit on complaining Blu, cause I'll tell you right now, if you keep complaining like that nobody will want to sweat with you on PSN or Xbox Live if you do ever get a 360. We all just want to have fun gaming and if you keep nit picking on the gaming scene then you might find yourself isolated from the majority who want to sweat for fun. Just my 2 cents...

It may seem counterintuitive blue but constantly bashing the psn community isn't going to have the desired effect of getting a diverse, active scene.

nothing wrong in stating your opinion but if you truly care about the psn community developing, then this current tone is counter productive to its growth.

It appears that Blu_ViCe is taking my dislike for Killzone 2 a lil too personal. This is what he sent me via PSN.

You take this gaming thing a lil bit too seriously man! Does it make sense that every trini is wrong besides you? Just for you I went to gamebattles and there are 26 threads and 5 ranked teams in the Killzone forum, 950 threads and 340 ranked teams in the COD4 forum. there are also 16547 threads in the socom forum and 76 ranked teams. I can only conclude that the gamebattles community is mostly a waste of break as only a few care to play killzone 2.
I simply do not like Killzone because I think it controls badly. Horrible controls do not make a game hardcore. Socom is considered hardcore and the aiming is much tighter than in Killzone. I play games for fun and could care less about playing against your stupid n3w clan when uncharted 2 comes out.

2. Halo and gears are not viewed as hardcore games! People play these because like COD4 they are fun to play and control well.
