HARDCORE cooling from Thermalright

Check out an upcoming 'Heat Sink Case' design from Thermalright, the makers of the best aircooler for desktop CPUs (Ultra-120 Extreme).
These pics were taken at Computex 2007.








The last pic features heatsinks that cool UNDER the motherboard.  I would really like to know how this is achieved without shorting all
the solder points under there together.  Talk about overkill.
I guess a system built using this case would need no fans whatsoever, save for the PSU.

Very elaborately designed..its like one massive heatsink with heatpipe lol. Seems to be totally fanless as well!! nice!!!.

that case coupled with an ultra large cooling fan spinning around 450~600rpm, and there'll be NO noise MAX cooling!!

If the mobo moves the socket around as that isn't standard, then the sink wont work.

The further away the area is form the sink, the less effective it becomes. I doubt it would be much cooler than the top hr-01 ultra or whatever the new top dog is.

that depends eh, some heat-pipe solution HSF manufacturers use hollow tubes semi-filled with distilled de-ionized H2O, and they nickel coat the pipes to keep the heat within the vapour as it travels away from the heat to condense in the finned area. it works very well!

it does, but it's usually not meant to be that big, and the fins themselves dont appear to have pipes running through em.
