US Justice Department warns it's been phishedYou probably weren't expecting thisBy INQUIRER staff: Thursday 28 June 2007, 10:21THE DEPARTMENT OF Justice (DoJ) warned that people are receiving emails purporting to come from its hallowed halls but they're fraudilent fishing attempts.The letters, starting Dear Citizen, warn people that they're the subject of complaints filed with the DoJ and forwarded to the IRS. The email comes with a DoJ logo.The emails come with an attached file but the DoJ warns people to delete them and not to click on them.The DoJ says that you should delete the email and complain to it at www.ic3.gov - and people should also have a gander at its spyware and phishing by going to its spyware page and its phishing page. µ
