Well...it's certainly been a WHILE since I've posted any new benchmarks.
The ol 'ARCMAN-ADVANCED' has been chugging along quite nicely ever since,
but we have new drivers, so a little update to the score was necessary...

Planned upgrades:
2 x [Sapphire] Radeon HD 6950(2GB)Corsair Hydro Series H100 all-in-one Liquid CPU cooler
The 6950 can be easily unlocked to perform at 6970 speeds, and two of these bad-boys can easily
match the performance of ONE dual-GPU 6990, for almost 200 US less. If that isn't the very definition
of bang-for-buck, I don't know what is.
Might not hurt to get a new motherboard as well, but with LGA-2011 right around the corner,
I'm hoping this current one will at least get me there. I really have to give MSI props here
for a pretty durable piece of kit. It's lasted through all of the OC abuse I've thrown at it,
and is still rock-solid stable to this day.
I know some of you are highly averse (elitist?) to the idea of an 'all-in-one' liquid cooling solution,
but that's my choice. I'm well aware of the pros and cons of such a kit, and I've decided it's
STILL not worth the extra hassle investing upwards of 300 US in a 'bess' custom setup.
I have NO intention of adding GPU watercooling to my rig, so the Corsair will do quite nicely.
It will allow me to free up some much-needed space around the CPU area, and I can still maintain
my 4 GHz OC without issue. Better yet, it's already 'forward-compatible' with LGA-2011,
so upgrading will really be a walk in the park. All I'll really need is the mobo and CPU.
