So i took in this on DVD this weekend.

Um.....are you a fan of senseless violence and linear stories?

Well you might be disappointed...but then again....not too much. The GTO in this flick is simply put wow..The fast action and pace at which things happen is quiet cool, make sure and have surround sound.

I disagree with you a bit.

The story was a bit linear yes, but they pulled it off somehow, had me totally into it right up to the end!

I'm sure I made a thread about this movie already but yeah, I think it was wicked, 9/10.

Blame growing up on Van Damme, Schwarzenegger and Sylvester movies. lol

you should immediately know that this movie was never meant to be story based, neither was the version that was released in the 1975 (death race 2000) with David Carradine. Was always meant to focus on the violence and action. As far as that went i was happy with it, never expected anything else.
