^So whats the feedback on the game?

Is it really really great to warrant a purchase? as opposed to Battlefield Bad Company?
you cannot compare Bad Company to Soul Cal. BF lasts what......10-15 mins a match depending.....and Soul Cal is a 2 minute game online:P
I tried online yesterday and had good internet connections and extremely minimal lag. it wasn't so bad that my moves were hindered or a pain in the a@ss .....but you need a good connection.

Vader is awesome.....powerful. Apprentice is SERIOUS op.....but the man SICK with it. REAL mad. Force dis and push and dat and blotoye and turn in(f*cking)visible and kick yuh @ss and ploi and boye and matouks and ting!

Hilde is MMMMAAAADDD. i like her as one of my fav chars.....Ivy used to be my fav....but some changes with her takes some getting used to again.

LOL @ my comparison...

Is either or for me...

I think I want to go SC4 for a solid fighter..
but I don't have a good connection...and me thinks gaming from T&T will = major LAG...

The battlefield demo worked well on my net and it was awesome...

Tough decision...
will sleep on it tonight...

yea i'm alright. Trying to get used to the game. Still playing it like soul 3. But hey only had the game a few days.

Ah vex they change up some things about my fav character xianghua and some of mitsu.
Like for xianghua i can no longer cancel great wall which was integral to my playing style especially to get in on characters with range weapons.

Mitsu kick chop, oh loss that kick short range now, can no longer abuse it. Also his forward b, nooooooo. They change it to a sword butt which is very short range so not as effective as an interrupt move like its predecessor.

Xianghua's playful touch (d ~b , or as i fondly call it the twiddle) has changed somewhat. The character goes way high now when hit and my usual follow up attacks no longer seem to be guaranteed e.g. lower great wall and dfx2 k,a.

haven't integrated the critical finisher thing but I am wary of blocking plenty. That bar goes up fast. Verticals no longer track as much which is good and bad depending who you using.

Deciding which new characters to learn. Yoshimitsu is awesome and has some fancy moves that i like.

oh come on, She isn't/wasn't broken. If Talim was broken, Setsuka would be disgustingly so. I hope they leave the frame stuff with Mitsurugi.

The frame stuff with Mitsu if you mean the d,d, B or u,u B or 8wr B where you can cancel it just as it hits the opponent and you get a second advantage over them, that is GONE. They fixed that since the arcade version in soul 3 I think.

Talim, well i never played her, but my brother was playing with her against my xianghua and she seems very solid. Even thought of trying her out but one character at a time :)

Yea siegfriend was mess in 3 but still fun to play with. The new sieg, haven't played around with him too much but he seems better than 3.

Yes mitsu has some changes that requires retesting him but he still dishes it out and takes out big chunks out of your life very quickly. So don't be worried. Still very much a powerful character and one of my fav characters. His second custom is also very sexy. :D

More testing to be done. Don't have much time during the week so be patient or get the game and join in the fun. :)

The mechanics of the game takes a bit to get use to. Somehow it seems slower and more calculated. You can't just throw out moves and yet you can't be too defensive either. Lot of parrying, reflecting and side stepping to be done.

Also apparently from what I have observed you can throw ppl out of mid moves even heavy hits and you can NO LONGER PARRY throws. Some ppl recovery too quickly from certain moves.

Xianghua still kicks major A$$

By 'fix' her, I meant 'fixed' her from her crappy tier state in SC3. Nearly all of her effective moves were nerfed in that game.
