Bill Gates shakes off college dropout tagGets a degree in lawBy INQUIRER staff: Friday 08 June 2007, 07:40MICROSOFT MAN Bill Gates was given an honorary degree by Harvard University.He dropped out of Harvard in 1975 and went on to form Microsoft as the world+dog now knows.In a speech accepting the degree, Gates said that he formed the nucleus of an antisocial group in his dormitory, according to a report in the WSJ.But he had been described as Harvard's most successful dropout and left college pretty well educated in everything but the inequalities of the world.Next year he will devote all his time to the philanthropic efforts of the the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation.Harvard awarded Gates an honorary Doctorate in Law. µ
