Open Office virus discoveredBunny porn Charlie innocentBy Nick Farrell: Tuesday 22 May 2007, 15:00Click here to find out more!A WORM for the Open Office package which delivers a picture of a merchant banker in a bunny suit committing an act which Victorian doctors would have claimed damaged eye sight, has been found by the virus experts at Sophos. The 'proof of concept' virus targets the open-source office package OpenOffice and runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. However the anti-malware outfit Sophos says you have about as much chance as catching the malware on your computer as you are of getting myxomatosis. The worm has been written in the StarBasic scripting language in the office suite to save scripts to disk in several other languages. As SpokesSophos Graham Cluley points out, the virus writers were so confident of getting the virus to reproduce they mailed it to the Sophos office to show it off rather than risk releasing it and have it go no-where.
