watch and cry suckers :)

Dont worry, ill be purchasing d retail tommorow, still fun to see dey crack dis game so insanely fast, its unbelievable.
and from what i can see so far, its alot better than d retail, unit animations are better, death animations, movement mechanics, it feels right.
unlike that beta which didnt feel all that good.

And i runing at 100fps @ 2560 * 1600, my fraps was on fullzie, so dropped it to 30fps, but game looks and run sweet.

Q: What’s a StarCraft II "character code"?
A: When you first log in to StarCraft II, you’re prompted to choose a single character name. This is the only name you’ll use on Battle.net, and it’s tied to your StarCraft II license. In order to allow players to select any name they wish regardless of whether another player is already using the same name, we then generate and assign a three-digit character code that uniquely identifies the player. When posting on the forums of the new StarCraft II community site, players will be posting using their StarCraft II character name and character code.

Seriously I need REAL first hand feedback on this game. I've played the beta and it was decent, however I am COMPLETELY OPPOSED to Blizzard continuing its CUSTOMER SHAFTING efforts (no doubt irked on by blActivision) and charging me 60USD for ONE yes 1 FRICKING CAMPAIGN? And then I have to WAIT for the 2nd and 3rd campaign? what kinda WOW BULLSH!T is that? 60USD per year for 1 game? WTF? I was going to buy this game digitally launch day but when meh bro told me (yes I doh have time to read up all this ish) I was like... WTF... they NOT getting my money AGAIN.... I bought my bros WOW (BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE). And since then with all the releases and what? 15USD a month + 40-60USD PER EXPANSION... well DAMN this is expensive ISH... so PLEASE guys, fellow GATTers tell me honestly, is this REALLY worth the money?

Keep in mind honestly I am more interested in the campaign than online play (cause honestly I DON'T have time to sweat SCII AND my 360, and sorry my 360 wins out imho) so is it REALLY worth 60USD for the campaign? with the added 'bonus' of getting my ass handed to me online IF I want? Or has blizzard gotten away with itself and in addition to already shafting my household with WOW I am not about to be shafted even MORE with SCII (not to mention WOW still ongoing)

wintry, starcraft is broke up into 3 parts, terran, zerg, toss.

But d playable single player content in d first game, is 60+ hours.

Blizzard responded to statements of robbery by showng, d conent u get form this one game, is more than d orignal craft, and brood wars, combined.

They say u paying for a full game, and dey just extending d story over 3 parts.

Think Mass Effect, nobody call robery for them stretching d story across, Mass 1, 2, 3

Same thing here. 60+ Hours in ah strat game?
dats alot. and u have d added MP bonus, which will live on for years to come.

I play d first mission of the SP twice, and from what i see, and knowing blizzard and story and cinematics, yes it worth d money.

WOW is shit, so i wont even comment on dat :)

Im not familiar with all the Activision/ Blizzard dramas of late. So Ill leave that information to those who are better informed.

But I have to agree with messiah, the combination of a damn good and meaty single player campaign with the well established multi-player, makes this more than worth the purchase in my book.

Even if its broken up into three campaigns, all games have sequels, they just announced plans for another 2, thats no different to the amount of Call of Duties or Halos, or Dawn of wars.

Dawn of war had like 4 expansions originally, and they all added to the original experience significantly. I see the additional campaigns for Starcraft 2 doing no less.

Yea its a lil pricy, but Blizzard does not dissapoint with quality.

I'm still terribly disappointed in this move, and I may have to *cough* acquire this just to get a first hand account of whether it's worth it to ME.

@ Crixx dlc on console, yes which is also robbery, but then i've not paid for any dlc myself so I can't argue about spending someone else money to get it XD. I refused to get the last DLC for MW2 for WEEKS, until peer pressure prevailed and I caved XD again though it ain't my money so when the person who paying say GET THIS, you do exactly that GET IT.

60+ hours.... and RTS... honestly i've played WC1,2,3 SC, SC BW, Dragon something (can't rem the title), and all of these offered MANY hours of fun, satisfaction and joy, HOWEVER considering that to run a LAN sweat there needs to be 2+ copies in my household (to sweat with meh bros etc), the draw of 'multiplayer'  substantially drops. Or for that matter since I am NO RTS champ, I wanna run a chicken sweat with ppl I know, again... how many men shelling out the cash for this title and not HARDCORE?

If I wanna run a LAN sweat by someone, the nightmare to get men who LEGITIMATELY have this game deters me. On the console whether I sweating hard or just playing de ass, I ALWAYS have men to sweat with, Trinis mostly if not totally. I can't see myself having the same experience here.

Dread I got GOW for the PC just to sweat with Messiah and dem, and the sweat COMPLETELY BUSS NOW, I fear this shall be a similar experience. I'll make an analogy I look at SC II installment one like a 1 night stand, fun, COULD be expensive, no way of determining personal satisfaction ahead of time and no way to give it back after the deed is done if the experience was not good. Save at least in a 1 night stand you may not have to see that person ever again... I would have a blood vessel issue if I had to stare at a title that after I bought it the hype was really all that was there...

That being said i'm still open for someone to sell me this game as in be a sales person, SELL ME THIS GAME cause I WANT it to be everything we've been waiting YEARS for, but I just DON'T believe it yet.

So ftw, someone hit meh a PM, I want to 'acquire' SC II to see for myself without the bad aftertaste of not being satisfied with shelling out 60USD.
