Would Sentinel/Sentinel/Commando be the best team? Or Storm/Storm/Psylocke? Cable/Cable/Cable would certainly be scrubby, but not very good I imagine (burns too much meter).

In any case, 3 Cables are a bad idea.
I can outwit a Cable unless he has very decent Assists to back him up, and Cable x2 aren't good assists for the last one.

I'd have to go with Storm/Storm/Psylocke.
That would be a hard to kill team. If you can even reach it at all.

And when is this not the case? Cable/A-Cable would still be very annoying. There's not much to "outwit" when facing that type of sheer firepower and screen coverage. BUt as I said, it's not likely to be a good team because it has 3 meter hogs and doesn't generate it fast enough. Mags and Storm would have a field day with that team.

Storm/Storm would likely be an exercise in criminal frustration. Get a lead, then run away for the rest of the match. And if one Storm dies, another comes in to keep up the running! ARGH! >:|

Well, I went to St.James yesterday to try out using HK Hyper-GRav instead of LK Hyper-Grav in Mag's air combo. And the results were... inconclusive for the time I played, which wasn't that long. I managed to hit the combo fairly often, but I STILL missed by canceling way too fast before the Hyper-Grav even came out. But I believe my hit rate went up compared to how I've been hitting it in the past few months, roughly equal to how I would do on a "good" day with LK. Need more play time (which isn't coming before Saturday for the earliest) to confirm.

ur problem is the cancel speed after the hg. mixup speeds and find the correct one 4 u.
where are the arcades with good  mvc2 players at?

Yuo just have to go to the right areas. Anywhere around NYC is a good place to look. I was in a random mall on Long Island one Saturday in late April, and got totally destroyed by a guy who was obviously CTF trained. Hell, that same place I bounced up a former roommate of mine whose ass I used to kick 6 years ago, and wow, I can't kick his ass any more. The boy's been practicing. I'm so proud of him. :p

Sure, I don't see why not. However, I can't make it after the 26th. Carnival is just around the corner, the following week  have a tournament to organise, and after that I'm leaving the country for a while.

We'd have to see what we could organise for March.
