Xbox 360 Live

Could anyone help me through getting on xbox live using an Xbox 360, got it this week brand new and wanna connect and play with all meh people in T&T an around the world.
(When i connected, got to download the update then when i tried to connect to Live had to input Windows Live account, did that and  it said locale not supported....so that's where i've reached so far)

ok well the problem there is that you windows live account has the country as Trinidad and Tobago. Change that if you can or create a windows live account specially for your xbox and put United States as your locale.
