Well, I movin to the US and I will be leaving my peripherals here for my aunt to use with her PC. I will be taking my box, though, so my immediate purchases will all be peripherals. This is what I am looking at:

Monitor: Samsung 206BW - $260
Keyboard: Microsoft Natural 4000 - $50
Mouse: Logitech G7 - $65
Speakers: Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 - $150

My next big upgrades will likely be:

Graphics card: BFG 8800GTS 320 MB - $330
Motherboard: MSI 975X Platinum - $170
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - $308
RAM: Corsair XMS2 2 x 1GB DDR2 800 1.9V - $195
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 750 GB 7200.10 - $270

All prices are from Newegg which I will have no problem ordering from since I will be in the US.

Well, it will be a nice change since I had only one major upgrade in the last 5 years. It is kinda frustrating to live here and not be able to order from anywhere except Amazon. Although, you do get to like Amazon quite a bit after a while.

Someone mentioned the Logitech G7 mouse.

I recently got one, along with a G11 keyboard.
Best peripherals I have gotten to date.

The G7 has on-the-fly adjustable DPI functionality, so you can have ultra-fast turning
one minute, and the next, slow, precise tracking for when you're hunkered down
with a sniper-rifle.

This thing absolutely SHINES in BF2142, and it comes with not one, but TWO rechargeable
lithium-ion batteries. When one goes dead, its a simple matter of popping out the one in
the mouse and inserting the other, and you're ready to go in seconds. The other battery
can inserted in the charger, which plugs directly into a powered USB port on your PC.

The G11 keyboard is bar none, the BEST corded Logitech keyboard I have ever used.
Main features are backlit keys, USB ports, 3 sets of 18 programmable keys, and get this,
a switch to turn off the 'Windows' Start-Menu key. I cannot tell you how many times i have pressed
this key and got booted out of a game because I pressed that key instead of the 'Crtl' key.

Lawd, I'm beginning to sound like a Logitech maketing rep, but I just LOVE their products.
They should start making cases too to match their peripherals.

Hmm ... I might have to investigate that G11 keyboard. I just have a thing for the MS Naturals.

lol... I agree tho Arc, Logitech makes great-CHEAP!! products! i have the L7 mouse (adicted to the forward/back buttons

i've got a set of their 5.1 Z5500's - BEST sounding(on a budget pocket) DTS surround sound PC/Home Theatre speakers!
and numerous other gizmos... they're up there

I'm a logitech man myself.

swear by the stuff.

Tried so many of their products over the years that I've lost count.

The one mouse that stays attached to my desktop is the MX500. Haven't found one that surpasses that yet (more likely, it's just that I've grown so accustomed too it)

Bought about three since the rubber feet give way every year or so.

You NEED to see/use a G5 or its cordless cousin, the G7.
That MX500 will be a distant memory.

I bought a G5 arc, but it wasn't as "grippy" as the mx500.

The hardened rubber siding didn't sit as well with my sweaty palms as the softer rubber siding found on the mx500.

Sold it after about a month of use and got another mx500.

omg iam so buying that keyboard for lineage!!! that is macro heaven!!
i can triple box like crazy with all those macros!!w00t
make a healer for pvp parties and have crazy macros for me and my clan mates while i have my singer in town selling songs and pvping on my storm screamer!! nicee

Yes, that keyboard realllll 'bess'. It makes sweatage real easy in the darkness.

There is also its bigger brother, the Logitech G15

You can also check out the Saitek Eclipse and the Saitek Eclipse II as well. Never used em, but the reviews are good.

logitech G7 and G15 ftw!!! i have apps for the G15 that real decent.....even tho most of them have nutten to do with the games themselves

. arc, how long does ur G7 batteries last? i see ppl complaining about it, but i have no problem with it. 5 secs to swap the battery for a mouse that performs so well.....

I trust that these batteries are rechargeable...cuz to be changing ordinary batteries so often hadda add up financially in no time.
