Jade Empire PC : coming feburary 27th

 Jade empire , the so called best-rpg on the xbox , is releasing for the PC on feburary 27th . It will be available to download on STEAM and your regular download  service providers.
     What makes this something to look forward to , is that is is produced by bioware.. the makers of KOTOR , plus , it the combat is action oriented like a fighting game (not turn based) , with real time , kung fu inspired combat , in addition to magic etc.
     The whole game is asian styling ,  i'm sure alot of you are sick of the european stock RPGs that are out there , so it should be a breath of fresh air.

Minimum: Windows XP, Pentium 4 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon 1800XP, 512MB RAM, 15 GB Free HD Space, DirectX 9.0, NVIDIA GeForce 6200 or ATI 9500 or better (Shader Model 2.0 required), 100% DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card and drivers.

(15 gigs of hd space.. might mean a big @ss download )



Recommended: 3 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor, 1GB RAM, DirectX 9.0 February 2006, ATI X600 series, NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series, or higher recommended.

well as laertes say this is worth getting.
if your a PC gamer who looking for a bess RPG xp - go buy it
on the box it was a little choppy at times (mainly cuz of multiple enemy situations) but either way GREAT game.

If you think Kotor had reading...well...more reading IYMC:D
The game was GREAT, i had the limited edition with monk zen and developer info stuff on it, i'm looking forward to the new styles though -

This was not the best RPG on XBox, KOTOR was by a mile.
Jade was a decent game, very nice exploration and character interaction wise but extremely dumbed down and easy as far as combat went, and also a very short game.

Don't go into this thinking you're getting another KOTOR or you'll be disappointed. Not a bad game but certainly not something worth all the hype I've seen it getting.

  It is still a very dread game , played a few hours of it and i can't put it down . Combat is a bit easy but i'm sure it does force you to think and use  tactics for some of the stronger enemies , plus i'm not playing on the hardest difficulty .
     Very fun, i'd recommend it to anyone , dated ish graphics but the art design makes it look superb.

Well I've had time to mull it over since then. Not that it's a bad game, not by any means. Just not all that.

Playin right now, almost to the end, by no means "oblivion" but its quite enjoyable. After this I'll start command and conquer
