Sure. Even the measly 256 we have now with TSTT isnt half bad for gaming due to the OK pings. 512 will be even better. Welcome to the forums BTW.

I had this happen to me while chatting 'the Cap'n' on MSN.  Very annoying.  Interrupted a perfectly good pr0n download too (of course the server
did NOT support 'resume' ).  If you see yours truly doing diagnostic and rebooting like madd for about 20 mins.  I honestly thought something
was wrong with the modem at the time.  It eventually reconnected after about 30 mins.  I guess we might see some more interruptions as users are
switched over to ADSL 2+.  Unfortunately, people on at all hours now, but if  that is the price of progress, then so be it.  Just warn a brother.

On top of signing up online, I went in to TSTT on Park st and signed up 'manually'

now i wait for 4 to 6 more weeks...

encountered some woman who fainted in line and an old man i nearly had to lick down for cutting in line in front of me.
God is dead.

yeah, I called 'em up to today for an update.
still hearing 6 - 8 weeks talk for phase one.

Only good thing that came of the conversation is confirmation that the old dsl "original recipe" modem will do the job. one less bit of hassle.

I find they coulda save all the hype and fanfare for when the service was really available.

This waiting leaving a bitter taste in my mouth already.

Heard some complaints about the flow bandwidth fuh real. Enough rants to give me pause.

Like crixx says, should just be teething issues. Either way, the future looking real good for broadband on this island and we have Flow to thank for that.

In the beginning I heard within the week. That was 1 week ago. I've also heard 4-6 weeks, now 6-8 weeks? That is already into next year! Next thing we know is Carnival IWMC. TSTT joking oui.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, but the total bandwidth (accumulated aka upload+download) is 4GB per month... I heard that from a reliable source today... so now comes the question.. whats the good of having over 1Mbps if you get capped at 4GB for the month? 1 DVD and POOF.... any comments or news on this matter would be appreciated...

WTF indeed.  My pr0n fix could be in serious jeopardy.

Seriously though, the amount of stuff I download in a WEEK, that 'cap'
WILL NOT WORK FOR ME.....

This would also be inclusive of downstream data transferred during online gaming sessions.
Someone PLEASE confirm this.

Understandable if the bandwidth usage thing is tied to a particular package, but I don't think they crazy enough to make it the ONLY option across the board. That will truly be a stupid f***ed up decision resulting in many people resprting to flow.
