Well, yea, but TSTT has forced me to be a patient man so when you really look at it, TSTT is teaching it customers this valuable lesson. We should all pay $10 more than our bill costs to show our gratitude.

Tell me any of allyuh believe that tstt DID NOT have the infrastructure in place to at least up us to 512. That is a pile of crap if u ask me. Hands down is only because of FLOW we seeing any movement forward with TSTT. Weather or not you love flow, we have to give them their props for opening the market. The same thing goes for digicel.
I doh understand what make tstt think that they could push us around for years and that we will stick with them forever. We trini not STUPID.(But no lie if they come good i will stay with them. For me, my internet reliability has been pretty good with 99% up time so with that + much higher bandwidth at a reasonable price, I will stay.)
But back to my moaning. Them prices listed on tstt problem forums en workin. The big boys better review! The government better subsidize! Or as soon as flow reach here is bad blood between me and tstt!

Of COURSE they have that infrastructure in place. There are select users with 512k and 768k accounts, and the 'business' DSL
package is 1MBps (which is $1500 a month mind you, and comes with a STATIC IP address). The speed that you get is
directly controlled by your account name. I can verify this because I 'borrowed' a 1 MBps account for exactly one day.
(shhhhh)
I have 'seen the mountain' where speeds beyond 256k are concerned, and it is good.

"Select" is the key term there...
we want it to be global, without no underhanded business...
Over 1MBps for less than we payin now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That being said, I glad to see the business rates going down along with an increase in their speeds...

BTW just fyi, Flow has their own fiber out of the island separate from tstt, that and I'm sure tstt is making to much money subletting their bandwidth right now to bother increasing our bandwidth.
in Oct/Nov flow digital gets here so bye bye tstt.

Flows Acros fibre link off T&T was a blessing, Flows problem is speed of roll out and restrictive infrastructure. As it is ppl with flow internet can get 1 IP address and to the less tech savvy they will SELL you a second IP. Most ppl who know a thing or two know well heck buy a wireless router and talk done, NAT+DHCP. Flow also has HORRID customer service (save for corporate which seems aight). To put it bluntly, FLOW hasn't even implemented digital cable past Chagaunas so that not evn REMOTELY affecting me unfortunately. TSTT can sit on their hands for a while again and Flow won't start to substantially erode their revenues from the consumer market because of sheer availability.
