Ok i know im a little late as 2nd is coming out but what can i say i was bored and i post it now.
Firstly I did not have high hopes for this game i mean games based on anime havent really proven themselves yet :/. Ok when you start this game the first thing youll think is WTMC!! it in japanisms yes the japs are being selfish and keeping all the good games for themselves as usual. As far as i know there has been no translation however i could be wrong.
The gameplay is smooth and new if u like fighting games you probably want to get a hold of this somehow maybe import or do something dispicable as downloading r*m . Anyway the selection of characters is bigger than i thought although i would have had more hopes for them to bring in less stupid characters. Besides the main characters and captains we stuck with Bonnie Chan ( the damn pig ) Kon ( not as funny as youd think ) and Yachiru i mean wtf? and u also get 2 versions of captain Kumamora one with the basket.. ahem helmet on his head and one without. I cant help but think they could have maybe put in ikkaku maybe yamuchika, Ichinose , maybe throw in Urahara id like to own people using benihime.
Graphics are great when a person is about to execute their bankai you see an actual cutscene from the anime with them releasing it. The fighting is not perfect but its close you have 2 bars a Rietsu gauge and a Rayoku gauge ( forgot spelling ) rietsu is for ur super moves it has a max of 3 bars, 1 is required for a super move and 3 for a bankai and its fun. The raioku gauge also has a limit of 3 bars but it is for increasing the power of your special moves ( not super ) in street fighter a special would be a hadoken, and is also used for your movement techniques and depending on which character u use Shyunpo
. The gameplay totally dissapoints me in the fact that they have this deck of cards to give u power ups WTMC this is so much *&(@# i wont even get in to that. The part i hate most about this game and this is really where the points are going to subtract is that on the touch screen u can just touch to use your special and super moves even bankai WTMC!. I dont know about you guys but i think the move combinations are there for a reason without it any noob could just find out the right combination of moves to push and own u, the worst part is that this noob helper as i call it is available in multiplayer as well.

Final Score without noob helper would have been an 8.0 even with japanese and deck of cards
