Guys which is better pc gaming or console gaming? I think pc gaming is better but i find console gaming can bet pc gaming because theres alot of really cool consoles and games out there.The only console i have is a PS1.

So Guys which is better.

I have a feeling that the Both vote is going to win ... at least with sensible gamers. Consoles are the place if you need some God of War, Gran Turismo or other exclusive titles. Also, you can relax on your couch/bed and play a console. PC's are for RTS, FPS and many other genres that are mostly ignored by consoles (simulations, war games, etc.) Also, PC's have a lot of history and you can get almost any game to run (with a little headache) from way back when until now. Then, you have emulation which allows you to play many games you may have missed (from consoles, as well). So, at the end of the day, they both have their place and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Both yes. I used to be a staunch console advocate, until I got bit by the PC first-person shooter bug.
Its been on and poppin ever since.
Now that powerful PC parts have gotten way cheaper, yuh dont have to win a lotto to build a
decent gaming PC. Consoles have gotten more complex, and so have the games. It can no
longer be looked at as mere 'kids' toys'.

If I could have afforded it, I would have ALLLLLL.

Too many great games on both platforms.

Like arcman said, if I could afford it, I'd buy 'em all.

i voted console, since i really havent played any sort of good pc game since mine does struggle so hard to push low end games.

Yeah, it's been done a thousand times before but we can cut the guy some slack.

The PC / Console landscape does change pretty quickly. The lines keep getting blurred and that gives some validity to a revisiting the issue every once in a while.

well here this, since this IS going to be a topic that someone will post again in the future how about we just sticky this, and move on with our lives, and then when the next guy who thinking about it sees this he will just post whatever he has to say here, and we would not have to see Yet-Another-PC vs. Console-Thread...

This topic is a can of worms so I say I don't like it. Honestly I used to be a PC gamer, but I have come to appreciate the value of the console... so both in a way, but hey if something else comes out someday that blurs the lines completely or is something altogether different and better, i'd go that way to... so whaev.

I know for a fact PC is best for gaming...
(But only if you have the specs to enjoy the game at its optimal settings....)

Other than that... I'd go console (360/PS3) just because you don't need to have particular specs to run a game at its best...

the console that is already set to blur the lines of the PC / Console war is the XBOX 360.

It is best doing this by bridging the gap between PC titles and console titles.

allowing them to play together over the same network with vista will be putting the final nails in the coffin of this issue.

Well I was thinking some kinda virtual reality, matrix kinda $h1t.... something different nah... but I mean if you think about it, a console is a PC designed to play games full stop... so technically, there is little difference... but the inherent benefits of the console is cost savings and longevity whereas the PC is, more flexibility and better games/tech with each revision of hardware... still I rather not argue this topic, they're all good.
