in simple terms, yes to the amazon part, no on some computer parts...

You now have to pay VAT (but no duty as far as I know)on LCD monitors, memory and processors.... I'll have to get more details.

And a tip for those with sky boxes and using Amazon. try to keep the stuff in as few shipments as possible. if it can't be helped the one-item-in-a-box has better have some weight... your skybox will kill you with dimensional weight.

i have a friend whose credit card always works with newegg for some strange reason. we both have no clue as to why it works, but we discovered that it works since i ordered my first FX5700 card, and have been using newegg ever since. newegg is the best online retailer i have ever ordered from. i ordered an X1900XT OEM from them, it took 2 weeks to reach (damn crappy skybox). when i got it, it wasnt working properly. i wrote a letter to them and they told me to send it back. mind you, the warranty on thie OEM/Open box item was 15 days. it took 1 month for me to get it and send it back to them and they still refunded the money. so as long as u can get it to work, newegg seems to be the best for online pc purchases. hope u could work somn out with that boy arc.....

*ps: never buy an oem/openbox item*

ITS ALIVE!!!   ALIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!

CPU is running sweetly at 32 degrees C, thanks to the Zalman CNPS9500.

Just take a gander at them there benchmarks.....

God-DAAAAMMMNN!!!!!!   These results are quite shocking, and this is everything at stock eh.

3D Mark 05 = 13278

3D Mark 06 = 8630

Benchmarks were done at 1280 x 1024.

I will add some pics of the system when I get my hands on a proper camera.
Lets just say its real darn purty.

Yes, its the 320 MB version.  The 640 MB version would have carried me too much over-budget.
Any more cooling there would be overkill (and I'm just about out of room).  With 3 intake and 2 exhaust, I think I'm all set.
