Well HD-DVD not confirmed due to it losing the format war....
So I guess it wud be kinda dumb to implement something that not gonna remain...
It's not confirmed because it just isn't. They just haven't decided to agree upon any standard. It's not too uncommon for this to happen. There's no confirmed format for for HDTV but you can be damn sure they're going to implement it. Either way... that's what you're describing is not how format wars work. Bluray is
leading...2:1...it, however, doesn't mean that they're losing and doesn't mean that hd-dvd has nothing to gain out of this market, especially when electronics companies seem to be already keen on making dual format players.
