A landmark or a marker of doom?

Well I hope the topic heading isn't too misleading but the point is DAAMIT has just launched their first chipset from ATI under the AMD brand, which is a landmark event. THe following site has a review of the first product and it does well against the market segment its targetted for. You can read it up here

Now the real question and reason for the doom part is simple: 'Is this a good sign or just too little too late and the whole merger will blow up in their faces?' well I think Barcelona ultimately will answer that question.. either way this year should be interesting
