A decade of creativity
« on: February 06, 2007, 08:18:35 PM »
Its been 10 years since I left school
Its been 10 years since I first started making money of my artwork/graphics etc
Its been 10 years of me living life as a creative artist

I have a few sketches, drawing and musings from my ghosts of artists past, present and perhaps a glimmer of the future at my website. Take a look at http://www.zigwa.com for more.

Hmm such a negative post there BAego... but I suppose I have an inkliung as to what you're reffering to. That aside I must comment and say the site has a nice finish and its good to see ppl in the creative arts (man have display in Clico and thing). I remember my days of art abck in the day before meh boy kees was spelt kes and was a soca start LMAO! we had a great art class with alot of talented ppl. Few of whom followed their dream through... good to see those that do however!!! as for the regrets part Baego... best leave that for another thread, but my opinion on that is best to not bring them to the forefront of your mind as one must understand what is their baggage and other ppls baggage and knowing how to NOT blame yourself for other ppls baggage. But that, like I said is a talk for another thread.

Man. I only have about 7 years under my belt, and, out of all of that time, only the last two years saw me produce work that's worth showing off. Before that...bleaaaargh.

Looks like I've got some serious catching up to do.
Congrats on 10 awesome years, Shizz.

Some clarity on my earlier statement

In literature, the Decadent movement—late nineteenth century fin de siècle writers who were associated with Symbolism or the Aesthetic movement—was first given its name by hostile critics, and then the name was triumphantly adopted by some writers themselves. These "decadents" relished artifice over the earlier Romantics' naive view of nature (see Jean-Jacques Rousseau). Some of these writers were influenced by the tradition of the Gothic novel and by the poetry and fiction of Edgar Allan Poe.

My shot at being artsy and deep

btw, I've always been impressed with your stuff NEO for what that's worth.
