Crixx intro'd me to GATT when we was liming with a mutual pardner. I was looking to sell my PC at the time.

It was also about the same time when Zuse and NEO were having their war of words.... I worked with both Zuse and Synchronomyst in a now doomed god-be-damned so-called IT workplace... so glad we all resigned....nepotistic MCs!!

i remember spending every afternoon in techno junkies sweating game like mad, everything i could get a chance to play. Met orouchi, got tutored on kof a bit, fell in love with the soul edge series and xmen vs street fighter.. ummo.

Techno went thru expansions and stuff, we had our hands on a jaguar(lol) a 3d0 and a host of other machines, then techno changed to maximum electronics and de mc pet store open next door... hmm

but we still came an sweat. Arcade in de back, pcs in de front.

THen i saw toy man and some others playing star craft and iam like... wtf is that!!
i had been playing age of empires and the rise of rome expansion on my 66 mhz ciris processor machine at him and been loving it ( 1 gig hd that i paid 1000 dollars for) and like 128 megs of ram i believe, if so much yes. lawd.


So yeah see this star craft thing and was like i mustttttttttttttttttttttttttt play this please let me play.

paid my fee (had a fee back then, yearly, cant remember how much it was)
saw them on irc alot but i didnt know how to use it then so i stuck to the website and star craft.
Played under lord nikon back then( this is before the formation of the crixx_creww, LONGG TIME) lol.

I remember seeing orouchi's pic on the site up for kof winner and some noob name ronstar up for unreal and then this LITTLE BOY up for quake and i was like wtf??? if a small man could be a champ then i MUST BE ABLE TO COMPETE HERE

jump to 2000 and my getting a good pc (@ the time of course lol) then joining the forums and then finnally my time in uwi where i attended sns instead of classes lol lol

and had the absolute best gaming time of my life.
playing amongst zk and foak and all the sof clans and the game boys and so on and so forth.

I was just surfing the net you know the usual looking for norp and came upon the GATT site weird huh lol, anyway i wnent a couple SNS sweat with my friends from gameboys so i always knew about gatt so i said what the hell might as well sign up and the rest as the say is history.

I happened to come across GATT site last year when looking for a local source of info about tech. I was actually trying to find some alternatives for T$TT DSL (which still not available in my area - thanks T$TT). There was a thread about this company called Green Dot which looked promising so I signed up for it. Well, to put a long story short ... I have been posting on the site ever since and because Green Dot "bandwidth" not really good for much else (gaming in particular).

Well wireless on a whole is not good for gaming... latency will KILL you... literally too in FPS especially.. that aside to be honest TSTT DSL is ok but does tend to LAG alot too eh, so doh get tie up. camRE was saying avg ping to T&T from him is bout 130... not too bad but not great.

finally gave some intrest to the site in like 2004.

I don't recall how many years I've been here (whatever 'here' was in all it's forms).  But I was looking to get back into the gaming scene after many years of absence.  Found GATT and eventually joined up.....the rest is all a blur.

Always heard about GATT from a pardner who used to attend sweats, then decided to attend one myself on Carnival Friday night in 2004 with my PC (wit meh spankin new  Nvidia FX5200).  I think it was at Euronet on Marli St.  I remember Shizz welcoming me with open arms.

I was a die-hard console fanatic up to that point, but then I got introduced to Call Of Duty
and UT2004 that night, and MAN was I HOOKED!!!!  Been a die-hard console/PC fanatic ever since.

Thank you GATT for introducing me to the concept of a LAN-party, and to PC gaming in general.
Even though I was getting pwnt from all sides that night, I was having a WHALE of a time.

i still looking for gatt....i does always end up by HQ or wherever Baego was....meh. whenever im in Trini and have time i guess i check you guys out. I dont really do sweats by places like that or anywhere for that matter. Its either online or by family with family. Not comfortable anywhere else so dont expect to see me at any tourneys or anything.

My story's not that big of a deal...

I moved to Trinidad 3 years ago.  When I left the states, I left behind Everquest and Magic.  Those were my two chosen forms of amusement....there's not much amusing about married life.....

The cost of a decent internet connection was staggering to me (as that I had been paying 19.99 US for Cable DSL), and I couldn't see paying 3 to 4 times that for less bandwith....so I decided to find some folks to play magic with...

One of my co-workers suggested that I check out this site...as that it had a few magic players as members....I came here....tried to scare up a few games (found most card players here play Yu-gi-Oh!).  I eventually found some people in Woodbrook who played....but when they disappeared, I came back here looking again....

I eventually gave up on finding some magic players....and gave in to the old PC addiction...so here I am...stilll.  And though I haven't talked about it much....yes, I'm still running a piece of tahtah for a computer (Duron 1.2ghz w/an FX5200 AGP, and a gig of pc133).

GATT found me   -- I was walking home one evening from school back when I was in Form 2  --- All of a sudden Scorp came driving his pickup around a corner and stop on the corner to hand me a flyer and said "TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS" -- 4yrs later and alot of lost matches i still have that flyer and well GATT (d one in lewis street) took all of $5 from me -- ok ok so i gave them but it was fun. Now back on the forum different name thou.


All in all THANK GOD for the GATT.
