Well, when it comes to action movies, critics usually are wrong. Then again, I thought Daredevil was a bad@$$ movie. Somehow, I think this will be similar. I never read many Daredevil and Ghost Rider comics so I had less expectations than I did for Batman Begins and Spider-Man.

This was by far...THE WORST MOVIE i have ever seen that was supposed to be bad....the line da i hated the most was....u may take my soul but not my spirit sum kinda nonsense like dat...when he said that line....whole cinema started to crack up...the best part of the show was the start..when he ride off and leave the gyal in the rain..i real laugh...like da was hard for d girl eh buh damn fellas hardcore...he eh even give she ah panadol self in case she get d cold

Hmm ... allyuh fellas does make me wonder sometimes. When you go to see a movie like Ghost Rider, what do you really expect from it? I was expecting some decent action, special effects and comic book style dialogue (i.e. nothing Oscar worthy and aimed at 10-year-olds). Well, I got what I was expecting and in that sense, it was worth it. I think your expectations need to be in line with the movie for it to be worth something (same with the Star Wars prequels IMHO). Just because we grow up, comic book movies (with a target audience in the teens and pre-teens) don't need to as well.

I agree with you a 100% on the expectations, because when you hear ppl say it'll be crap you'll end up expecting it to be crap. But even though i heard ppl saying so, i still say let me go see it for myself cause you know everyone has different taste and i find it was cool and as i will forever say.... "THAT BIKE BOSS" lol. And the Americans are rating it as 'best film of the year' :S.. I wanna believe is just for advertisement.

Cross, if you like Eva Mendes, check it out. The daredevil motorcycle stunts are also very well done, IMHO.

heh.  I went to the movie, FULLY expecting to be crap....had I not gone with my friends to see it, I'd have walked out.  I have NEVER walked out on a movie.  I was very disappointed in the movie, even though I had very low aspirations for it anyway.  The plot was poor, the dialogue too campy (I laughed at most of the "serious" lines, and the acting was some of the worst I have seen since being forced to watch Power Rangers with my son.  I can only think of one movie I disliked more....Bloodrayne. 

The 3 best parts of the movie....3. Eva steps outta an elevator wearing a nice push-up...she looked real hot in that scent, 2. The Transformer preview at the start.  Though I had already seen the trailer on the net, it was nice to see it on the big screen...and a heck of a lot easier to make out the details on the bots, 1. The closing credits were REAL sweet.  Why?  the special effects invloved?  no.  the music they used?  definitely not.  some extra scenes?  nah....it was cuz I could FINALLY leave that blasted movie.
